My car came with MRF Wanderers out of the showroom. Used them for 42K km. Then switched to Continental UC6 (same size). I’ve driven the continentals in the rains and the grip on offer is phenomenal. The ride quality, grip and braking are much better than the wanderers.
Switched from Apollos to Continental UC6s on the tire shop guy’s recommendation 3 years ago (had originally planned to shift to Yokohama Earth1) and honestly I ain’t shifting to anything else ever again. Minimal tire noise, better comfort and never felt a lack of grip even though I turn like an idiot at super high speeds some times.
The OEM tire is extreamly good! The first batch of BYD seal comes with Continential SC7. Its performance is close to PS4 and better than PS4 on wet days. I strongly recommend it. Though it costs more and tread wear fast, still worth it!
Same here. I’ve gone back to the Conti’s on my R after running the AS4’s. Outstanding all-around tire.
Never had a bubble on my DWS. Had several on my Michelins.
I've owned AS3's, AS3+, and PSAS4's. I've also owned DWS06 and DWS06+. I am partial to the DWS. I like a healthy 50/50 performance/comfort blend. DWS are that.
DWS06plus are wonderful: quieter than expected with excellent grip and ride. I have 25k on mine with absolutely nothing but praise--Maine winter snow and summer downpours are non issues.
I've had the Continentals on my '24 GLI since April or so, quiet, great traction, good handling.
Installed 20" Continental Extreme Contact DWS06+
Improved ride and noise but not handling. More lean left and right.
The rather good-looking (data-wise) Conti Raceking is an awful tire. The carcass is poor and starts bouncing at higher speeds or higher power, resulting in power and speed loss.
