I went with continental DWS06+ and I like them, went from rt660s to them and you can definitely tell a big difference in grip but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be
(2014 Audi AllRoad) I had the Quatrac Pro for 4 years. For dry, wet and winter traction as well as noise and tread wear, they beat the Continental Pro Contacts that preceded them.
I've had them for about 10k miles now and they are fantastic.
I replaced my tires back in January with Continental TrueContact 54s and have no complaints, I live in the Phoenix metro so mostly clear, dry roads. The stock tires that were on it were pretty much gone after 31k miles.
They are great tires but an extremely close contender is the DWS06+ from Continental. They are both amazing in the UHP all season category. This is splitting hairs but in my experience the DWS have better wet performance
We just put the CONTINENTAL - TrueContact Tour 54 on our car (22 bolt euv) and we haven't noticed any loss of range and they've been great so far.
For better piece of mind, I also recommend Continental DWS06+. 3 years and close to 40K miles on them in my 370Z, they're just now at 5/32 of tread.
I just switched from the Michelin Pilot Sport AS4s to the Continental DWS06 Plus. I've put about 300 miles on the Continentals. The ride on the Continentals is noticeably smoother and quieter comparted to the Michelins.
I had Conti ECF for a summer on my CTR. Wasn't bad. Got caught in rain a few times didn't die. Was a little noisy but rode well.
I ran some trail kings black chili years ago. By far the most difficult tire I've ever tried to mount. Never again.
