Tires Continental or COMFORSER

Continental truecontact tour. There's a newer version but as I understand it it's essentially the same tire. Much better handling in the rain. They were slightly noisy at first but I don't notice it anymore, that was probably just from the breakin period.

I swapped wheels for 16's and I think my fuel efficiency overall is about the same as before. City fuel economy may be slightly better because of lower wheel weight, highway economy slightly worse due to drag from less aero rims. But I'm not sure if there's really any difference.

Continental CrossContact LX25 (I bought these) offered good snow/ice and wet performance.

Comforser are well-known tires and they offer great traction and performance. Comforser off-road tires can easily handle deep muddy terrains and manage to maintain forward motion at all times. On the other hand, this tire brand is a little bit noisy, but they are great for highway use. My Car ( Honda City 4th Gen 2022) came with Goodyear Assurance 175 65 15 they lasted for 30K km from those, switched to Continental UC6 195 60 R15. Most of my driving are on good roads and highways , did Delhi to Ahmedabad post upgrade, really loved the ride comfort and how overall tyre noise got reduced, also car started gliding over small potholes and bumps effortlessly. I was also considering Yokohama Blue Earth GT but couldn\u2019t find it easily in the size I required.

My Polo came with Apollo, worked okay and lasted till 35k. Replaced them with continental uc6 and man it makes alot of difference, be it noise, comfort or grip. Been using for last 15k and looks almost new without a single puncture.

For smaller cars Continental UC6 is a perfect blend of grip and comfort

Continental was a hit and miss for me. One set was great, then four years later the next generation of the same line was rubbish.

The service manager of my local tire dealership told me these Continental tires were great tires. Never had continental tires before. The first time there was a bubble on the sidewall of the tire of course they never told me about the warranty or the class action lawsuit over it. So I shelled out $350 to have it replaced. The second time it blew out by the same company who sold them to me but a different location. They told me it should be under warranty and it took a while, but they ended up having no charge But I had to pay the $35 warranty in case it happened again and the tire and balance along with it. Not too long after that tire had the same issue (bubble) luckily I've been through it before and got it replaced for free, but not after a bunch of jacking around and of course, my time my effort and waiting for them to do it and the balancing etc. fees Here I am in July 2024 and another bubble on the sidewall the tire. I'm furious.
