Switched to DH SuperSoft Kryptotal Front w/o cushcore. Great setup. Conti DH weighs same as Assegai EXO+. More damped, faster rolling, great grip.

Pros: more damped, faster rolling

Continental Tires

After having less than stellar results with Maxxis tires searching for fast rolling, longevity, & with a lot of grip for the loose over hard terrain I normally ride in central Texas, I recently switched to Continental Xynotal DH casing soft compound rear tire.

It's pretty amazing on the rear. Faster rolling than the Dissector DD 3C MaxxGrip it replaced, with more grip, and much faster rolling than the Assegai 3C MaxxTerra EXO+ my Ibis Ripmo AF came with front and rear.

Pros: faster rolling, more grip
Cons: less stellar results with Maxxis

Continental Tires

I went with a high rolling resistance tire that I find works well in wet weather and mountain roads , Continental pure contact LS.

Pros: works well in wet weather

The continentals hands down. I’ve them and they performed incredibly. I have the Pilots on my Civic type r and they could be better

Pros: performed incredibly
Cons: could be better
Vehicle: Honda Civic

BRIDGESTONE Tires

The Bridgestone is going to be faster. The nankang would probably wear a little bit better call and is more heat tolerant. But not as fast when cold, and also heavier. If you were happy with the Bridgestone I would have to say probably stay there

Pros: more heat tolerant
Cons: not as fast when cold

I’ve had the Michelins and the Conti’s on my Mazda 6. Not a RWD vehicle, but enough to get an idea. The Michelins are great tires, but after having the Conti’s as well, the Michelins are absolutely not worth the extra money. The Michelins were a *tad* bit more “sharp” when changing directions at high speed. Quick lane change type stuff. But really other than that, the Conti’s are just as good as the Michelins. And for me, they’re wearing better too.

Pros: wearing better
Cons: extra money
Vehicle: Mazda 6

Continental Tires

Switched from Continental Der Baron 2.6" to Dhf/Dhr (3c maxxterra) 2.8" combo. DHR has less grip on uphill and roots, which is really annoying after expecting something great, because everyone loves these tyres...

Cons: less grip on uphill
