Can you afford Bridgestone Blizzaks? If so, get those. They are the best winter tires money can buy unless you literally live on a frozen lake. I had a set of ws80s for 4 or 5 years. I a aolutely loved them, and just put on a new set of ws90s, last year, and they're even better.
There are now 3 choices of 21, I just got the Bridgestones, and they are night and day better than stock Pirellis. And way cheaper. But these tires changed the whole feel of my R1S.
If you want the best snow tires get blizzacks they are by far the best out there.

Ws 90s are nice
Everyone has their own favorite brand. I've only ever driven Honda cars and over the years I've had General Altimax Arctic, Michelin X-ice, and Bridgestone Blizzak. Of those my favorite are the Blizzak, but the difference between the brands are not that big.
Bridgestone Blizzaks have served our Outback well.
I was running stock Bridgestones - they’re 240 TW. They’re street tires and I don’t think I do enough track days to go w a more track oriented tire. They felt quite good on track. Not great. Good.
Bridgestones are meh and overpriced. Ecopias are just meh.
These are absolute JUNK. 35k miles on a well maintained Lexus RX 450h with normal driving - they are toast. We were going to change them in July because they are to the wear bars - except one bubbled a sidewall and blew while sitting in the parking lot today.
