Tires BRIDGESTONE or Maxxis

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I've been swapping out my tires every November-April for Blizzaks. Proper winter tires are totally worth it though. A WRX with winter tires is a beautiful thing.

Pros: totally worth it
Vehicle: Subaru

I had my last winter with my F80 last year, and used Blizzaks on staggered 18” wheels. Never let me down through the shitty Canadian snow.

Pros: never let me down

I have S22's on my current streetbike and really like them. Really great in the wet, and plenty of stick for the street.

Pros: great in the wet, sticky

I thought about CC2's for my Tucson Hybrid with AWD, but went with the Bridgestone WeatherPeak's instead. Didn't notice a mileage hit at all compared to the OEM tires, and they may actually be an improvement. They were a big upgrade in the snow as compared to the OEM tires.

Pros: big upgrade in snow
Cons: no mileage hit

I have Turanza AS6 for two years and ~24k km. I quite like them. Maybe the winter performance is not extraordinary, but good enough. Wear is surprisingly low so far. Comfort is average.

Pros: surprisingly low wear, good enough winter
Cons: average comfort, not extraordinary winter
Mileage: 24000 km

I went through a set of Blizzaks in a year. I drove like 20k miles and didn’t change them in the summer.

Cons: worn quickly (20k miles)
Mileage: 32186 km
