Tires BRIDGESTONE or DEXTER

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I use Blizzak DMV2 (suv version of the WS80) on my Santa Fe. Unstoppable in deep snow, but that has mattered maybe twice so far this winter. On ice they have been better than my all seasons, but they have not been incredible.

Pros: unstoppable in deep snow
Cons: not incredible on ice

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I found the Bridgestone tire to be alittle more forgiving and last longer. The grip on these tires are both amazing and hard to tell them apart on snow and ice.

Pros: amazing grip on snow, ice
Cons: Michelin liner can crack

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I use Blizzak WS80's and a couple 50lb sandbags in the trunk. No issues as long as there isn't a shit ton of snow. I still avoid all steep hills.

Pros: no issues
Cons: avoid steep hills

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I have blizzaks and Mrs. Krieg had ice guards on her last car. Both are excellent snow tires, and I never noticed a difference in the wet.

Pros: excellent snow tires
Cons: no difference in wet

BRIDGESTONE Tires

As a counterpoint to the Michelin PSS, I have Bridgestone S04 Pole Position tires and have been very happy with them. Dry and wet performance has been excellent.

Pros: excellent dry and wet performance

I had Ecopias (EDIT: EL-400s) on my Mazda3. They would not die. At like 90k miles I replaced them because they had gotten hard and the snow traction declined... they still had a decent amount of tread left.

Pros: decent amount of tread
Cons: gotten hard, snow traction declined
Vehicle: Mazda 3
Mileage: 144841 km

The factory tires on my 335i are Japanese made Bridgestone RE050 Run-flats. They suck, harsh ride, low tire life, loud, and most of all one small pot-hole and you got an instant sidewall bubble.

Pros: instant sidewall bubble
Cons: harsh ride, low tire life
Vehicle: BMW
Part number: RE050
