Get snow tires. Bridgestone blizzak are amazing. All season tires are not.
If you end up deciding you want to get into it, first priority has to be brakes, followed by tires. Both will start to wear much faster and become a safety issue as you progress. For brakes, pads and fluids at minimum, and good to do discs too for most cars, and for tires, something that's dedicated (Hankook RS4, Kumho V730, Bridgestone RE71RS for example) and not just a good street summer tire like a PS4S
My wife's Prius is awesome in the snow. Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 tires. Glad to hear you are going that route, just be aware there are different models of blizzak tires.
Bridgestone Blizzak tires.
Our 2009 Fit will go further than any vehicle in the snow that isn’t also wearing snow tires.
grab some bridgestones or goodyears. solid budget tires that won't let you down.
Battlax S22 on a Ninja 650. Makapit. Confidence inspiring pag lean both wet and dry. Subok ko na inakyat ko ng marilaque habang maulan. Been using it since July and happy about it.
Blizzak ws90. Had them on my rwd g37 and made it through every winter/snow here in Missouri when I sold the car I kept the wheels&tires for my current car lol
Hoping the Bridgestones are better in the wet on this new compound. I hate swapping from yokes to stones and mess up my timing.
Those tires are mediocre to begin with, Toyota owners have complained about those bridgestones for over a decade now. The 2015+ Camry had those equipped, many reported shitty wear. It's a basic tire that's made for a smoother ride but definitely not made for longevity.
Those tires wear out fast. I lost 2mm of tread on all tires in 3800km. Window sticker says they only last 20000miles.
