Tires BFGoodrich or Vredestein
We installed the Vredesteins on my son's Fusion, and they're awesome. He drove through near blizzard conditions in the UP without any problems last winter.
Ultra-High Performance All-Season (best summer grip for A/S)
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4
Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus
BFGoodrich g-Force Comp-2 A/S Plus
Check out Vredestein. I am currently running the Hypertrac all season and they are very good.
I just replaced all 5 on my Forester, BF Goodrich All Terrains, for AU $1250, so about US $840 at Costco.
BF Goodrich KO3 AT , I have those now and road sound is barely there, compared to my previous tires , which were Toyo Open country trail rt. Grip is really good, They are wet and snow rated , so they do really well on those conditions but overall, are great.
A very solid tire for the money. Just behind Michelin, Conti, Pirelli.
Last set I got was Verdenstein. I've been very happy with them. Reasonable price, great grip and surprisingly quiet on the highway.
They were great in winter, but didn't last as long as I would have hoped. Treadwear Rating wasn't very high, presumably because they're soft rubber for good winter grip.
Worn KO2s are known to have lots of siping, but for some reason the siping doesn\u2019t go all the way down and they\u2019re known for getting pretty bad in the wet/snow vs some other off road tires.
I have k02 on mine and i dont like them. They look great and in mud and dirt they are great but a little water ore snow and ice and they break free if i goose it just a hair.
