Tires BFGoodrich or Uniroyal

BFGoodrich Tires

I like BF Goodrich T/A KSI they are less expensive than Michelin XIce. They have good performance and seem fairly durable

Pros: good performance, fairly durable
Cons: less expensive

Uniroyal Tires

Change to Uniroyal Rainsport 5s. Honestly the best tyre for an SUV. You will conquer snow with them. Probably the best tyres, my V60 and RS4 have them.

Pros: best for SUV, conquer snow, best tyres
Vehicle: Volvo V60

I replaced the BF Goodyears on my '68 convertible last year. They were 36 years old. They had about 5k miles on them. They looked brand new inside and out. They have been inside for 99.9% of their life. The same tires are on my '70 Mach 1, at 32 years. Are the new BFGs I put on going to last 36 years, or is the quality not the same?

Pros: looked brand new, long lasting
Mileage: 8047 km

Been on 285/75/16 ko2s for 4 years. I also have a four wheel camper I use in summer, I tow my seadoo too. Separately most of the time but sometimes both. No regear. I run sport 4 with ect on. I can run 70-75, you gotta work her on the passes though. But my trucks been great.

Pros: reliable for 4 years, good for towing, handles highway speeds
Cons: struggles on mountain passes
Vehicle: Toyota

Uniroyal Tires

I have a pair of tiger paw uniroyals on my Mazda 3 for my daily driver

It’s a okay tire and honestly just a tire with nothing special to it. It’ll get you to point A and B like it should.

Pros: gets you to point A and B
Cons: nothing special
Vehicle: Mazda 3

BFGoodrich Tires

Definitely a bit less grip in the dry than the 215 PS4s, but they're actually usable in the cold, solid in the wet, and at least passable in the snow. I'm not sure how much of the change in handling is down to the taller sidewall and narrower tire, and how much is the tire compound itself.

Pros: usable in cold, wet
Cons: less grip in dry
Vehicle: Toyota

got rid of my KO2 when I got stuck on my friends brick paved driveway because it was at a slight uphill (everyone else made it up perfectly fine and looked at me like i was disabled). This wasnt the first wet incident.

Cons: poor wet traction, got stuck
