I’ve had the BFG KO2’s since I bought the car. I’m now at about 85k miles and the tires are still holding up with 99% highway driving. They’re great in the sand tho also. I highly recommend them.

Pros: great in sand, holding up
Cons: loud on the road
Mileage: 136794 km

Ive been running KO2s for years and my most recent set is the KO3. I like them. They handle well on the road amd in the dirt, aren't loud at all, and last a decent amount.

Pros: handle well on road
Cons: aren't loud at all

SUMITOMO Tires

I ran sumitomo htr z5 for a few years and liked them a lot (summer/perf). Currently on vredestein quattrac pro which is more of an all season sport touring, and meh, I like them and they're great at what they are but I miss having performance tires in the summer.

Pros: liked them a lot
Cons: miss performance tires
Vehicle: Volkswagen

I am a huge fan of my BF Goodrich ko2. The rigid sidewall helps with the rear end sway and load stability and the higher PSI reduces temperature from the sidewall under load as well. They have been excellent on-road, off-road, and snow. The only thing I will say is that at higher pressure in the tire I feel everything on the road.

Pros: excellent on/off road, load stability
Cons: feel everything on road

I’ve always loved my KO2’s until this set. They don’t seem to do as well in wet roads as they used to.

Pros: always loved them
Cons: not good in wet

BFGoodrich Tires

Just wanted to put this out there on my experience with the BF Goodrich Advantage Control tires I purchased from Costco. Bought the BFG tires with 60k on my car. I now have 118k. At 110k I noticed a roaring sound coming from my front end and thought it might be a front wheel bearing. Not the case. Noticed that on the outside tread of all the tires, about every third knobby, was worn greater than the others. Always maintained the proper PSI and rotated every 5k miles.

Cons: roaring sound, uneven wear
Mileage: 118000 km

If you have an electric car or plug-in, the BF Goodrich are complete ass. I’ve been noticing my experience and other owners of different brands that our range has dropped more than 20%.

Cons: range dropped more than 20%
