This is going to sound crazy….but I have a pair of KO2s that have lasted 8 years on my 08 Tacoma and about 110,000 miles. I think it’s because they were E-load rated so the ride was also rough. Currently they are suffering from the rubber actually rotting rather than the tread wearing. IMO KO2s are a great choice.
k03 hands down. wildpeak AT is very noisy on the highway and they wear horribly, k03 is just all around better
I’m running BFG KO2s and I like them so far. I wish I would have waited for the KO3s to come out is my only regret, but they seem to be holding up well. I ran Yokohamas ATs for years, and my brother convinced me to upgrade to BFGs this last time.
I Run the KO3. They are really quiet and comfortable on highway and great off road. They have lasted me a while so far.
Vermonter here. I have a set of K03 on my Tundra. So far they’re a good winter tire. 4x4 is still a must with any winter travel but I can drive through just about anything.
I have same truck but 2017. I ended up with the BFG Trail-Terrains T/A from Costco on sale. They've been good all-rounders between longer highway miles but also on dirt and in snow.
Ended up with BFG ADVANTAGE CONTROL tires. Performance was much, much better in the rain and snow but my range dropped like a rock. The tires are absolutely fine for the daily grind since I plug in every night, but efficiency dropped 20%.
Perfomance degrades very noticably with age, at least I noticed that with my GoodYear winter tyres. First winter they were amazing, second wintee you could feel the drop-off but still good and during third winter it was significantly worse, to the point It would be worth to get a new set even though thread depth was still ok.
Goodyear tires are notorious for doing this. Several factors play a role on why this happens. Overweight from running low air pressure, vehicle sitting for a period of time in the sun.
I am disappointed with the factory Good Year Wranglers it came with. Tread level on my tires are at 3, Ive been rotating every 5-6k miles, they’re literally bald. Unbelievable.
