I run KO2s on my truck year round. I’ve never had dedicated winter tires for my truck so I can’t compare to that, but the all terrains are noticeably better on snow and ice than the all seasons that came with it. You still need to use common sense with driving to the conditions but the tires do help
Went with the BFGoodrich Advantage Control, super cheap out the door w/ rebate at Costco, I think it was like like $450 for 4 tires? And BFGoodrich just uses older Michelin designs so their tires are amazing and better than the budget brands it competes with
BFGoodrich Advantage T/A Sport LT is a much better tire for only a little more money.
Running for 3 years now on BF Goodrich Advantage All Season SUV (not premium, but touring tyre) and they've been really solid on all temperature ranges.
Been to Slovenia and back in rainy May, they held good. Been in all weather situations in South east Montenegro, no problem.
Snowy and ice conditions last winter in Serbia, not even a slip or losing grip.
Even been 3 times to Greece during scorching summers, they were still fine.
I like BF Goodrich T/A KSI they are less expensive than Michelin XIce. They have good performance and seem fairly durable
I’ve got a plug in the same spot on some BFGs and it’s held fine.
I did exactly one road / camping trip in my Gen 2 Tundra with the stock BFGs. I got 19 mpg highway. I also got stuck in the desert.
Yung bfgoodrich touring gamit ko, ok naman sya
turėjau Goodrode SW608 ant E320 merso universalo. pirmą žiemą atsikankinau ir paaukojau Ukrainos fronto automobiliams. jei Vilniuj kada matei praeitą žiemą į Tauro ar Šekinės kalną nepakylantį tamsiai mėlyną Mersą po nakties sniegučio, kai dar nebarstyta - tai buvau aš, keikiantis Goodride’us. o pasimoviau ant to, kad Continental grupės biudžetnikai, tipo, kainos kokybės santykis. nea, kokybės ten nedaug.
My stock KO2s are horrible in rain so I have no intention in grabbing another set.
