Tires BFGoodrich or FEDERAL

BFGoodrich Tires

Wow, I only got 30k on my Firestones and they were worn down! I went with BF Goodrich Advantage T/A just because they were on sale. So far so good.

Pros: so far so good
Cons: worn down quickly
Mileage: 30000 km

FEDERAL Tires

After my recent misfortune with A052’s at the track, I decided to go with a cheaper 200tw tire to see how they perform. I ran the Federal RS-Pro’s in 225/40/18 on my 2021 Mini Cooper JCW GP3. Handling was pretty impressive to me, to be honest.

Pros: impressive handling
Cons: acted a little squirrely
Vehicle: MINI

FEDERAL Tires

I am running the Federal Himalaya Iceo. Ran them last winter and had no issues at all , daily driven and even used for work. Bought them from Town Fair Tire and I would recommend them to others.

Pros: no issues at all
Vehicle: Subaru

bfgoodrich g-force comp-2 a/s

These tires should be perfect. They provide a VERY surprising amount of grip on dry and wet roads for all season tires. I even run these tires throughout the east coast winter and they handle very well in snow and storms for all season tires.

Only cons I noticed with these tires is that they are bit more noisy and I noticed the slightest drop in mpg after putting these tires on. Tread life is bit lower than average since they are ultra high performance all season tires. I've put about 15,000 miles on them, I can probably get about another 15,000 out of them.

Pros: very surprising amount of grip
Cons: bit more noisy
Mileage: 24140 km

FYI. The K02's are great. They are however sensitive to tire pressures. I always recommend you chalk test these particular models! I am running 38psi up front and 35 in the rear. They can get very noisy if underinflated. I used them as all seasons for the year and they did extremely well in most conditions with the exception of hard packed slushy roads - just not enough grip!

Pros: great all season
Cons: noisy if underinflated
Vehicle: Nissan

I have a set of Federal 595RS-Pro's on my ATS-V. I have not had them on their long but I have been able to do one autocross on them and it improved my performance significantly. Also, I can confirm that they are not noisy on the road.

Pros: improved performance, not noisy
Cons: longevity unknown

The KO2’s are what I’m running now. It’s a pretty legendary tire and has been around for decades now. They have good thread life, look aggressive, decently quiet on the road and do well in most off road situations except for thick mud since they aren’t, well, a mud tire.

Pros: good thread life, aggressive look
Cons: not best in rain

FEDERAL Tires

Federals are good but if you are daily driving you will hate how much noise those bastards make, really really fast.

Pros: good performance
Cons: very noisy

Forget the RS-RR's if you don't want your ears ringing for days after even a short road trip. I've been in a '17 mustang (gt) fitted with them; and I've never heard so much road noise on the street.

Cons: excessive road noise
