Starter motor Denso or Duralast

Denso Starter motor

Might be a long shot but see if there is a Starter/Alternator repair shop nearby. They will be able to disassemble and fix what is wrong using much higher quality parts that what auto parts stores use.

Pros: higher quality parts
Vehicle: Ford Mustang

I replaced my starter 3 times in 9 months on my rsx.

1. Buy new. I got 2 reman densos that failed within 1 month. Cheap WAI off Amazon was cheaper and new, and it's still working after 6 mo.

Pros: cheap, still working
Cons: reman densos failed
Vehicle: Acura RSX

I got a starter from Autozone 3 times and finally got one that would start the next day as well. I bought the first one from AZ and it was the Duralast Gold for the lifetime warranty. When I installed the first one it worked for the entire day no problem then the next morning the car wouldn’t start mind you I changed the battery a week prior. So I took it out went back to AZ swapped it out put the new one back in and I worked 5 times until I went to run errands and the car wouldn’t start. Went to a different AZ and swapped it out… now I’m on the 3rd going 2 days strong.

Pros: lifetime warranty
Cons: failed quickly, multiple replacements
