Bosch Spark plug

Bosch components made in the EU (this is the important part) are in many cases the items that VW installed on the car in the plant, or better. Take the spark plugs for example, Bosch just prints the VW name on it and VW installs it in the engine.

Pros: OEM quality, reliable

Bosch Spark plug

Worst case of electrode wear I've seen was on a set of Bosch 3-electrode plugs in a VR6. Plugs were so far gone, that five of six had triangular shaped center electrodes. Really thought I was gonna gall the head threads they'd been in so long.

Cons: worst electrode wear, triangular electrodes
Vehicle: Volkswagen

I found Bosch platinum plugs misfired intermittently on GM v8s with the optispark distributor despite being identical to the Delcos.

Cons: misfired intermittently
