I used Bosch W4CS (cheap plug) with good results in my G60.
I just replaced my plugs in an 89 16v yesterday. I ended up getting the Bosch platinum +2. I was leery of the platinums as everybody seems to knock them, but my car runs fine. They were 4 bucks each.
got my f6dtc's at the dealer (only place i could find them), and they were around 4 bucks a piece. car ran like a dream.
i;ve ran bosch plat 2 prongs for 2 yrs no problems! once I got my arcing wires sorted...
For the stock heads, I recommend the good ol W8AC (Bosch Copper)
i put a heatrange colder (bosch FR6 because i can't get the ngk's local) in my bro's chipped 337 and it ran a lot smoother
I got W7DC spark plugs from the local foreign parts place...performance hasn't been ideal, and I've already looked at some of the other common issues; I'm considering new plugs in part due to fouling (bad CTS, drove with a failed CTS for too long, lots of carbon on the plugs...cleaned them up some, but I'm not convinced they're OK).
i've got some bosch silvers...and this happened after about 12k miles and currently (3k miles) later i'm getting similar symptoms as before.
I have a strong opinion in not suggesting the Bosch or the Beru. There is a reason that BOSH is no longer the OE spark plug in VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz etc., etc... Stick to the NGK, especially in a VR6, NGK has been OE since the intro of the VR6 six months after Bosh failed to produce a plug that would run in these engine during start up. The Bosch had nothing but running problems.
And I tried both the Bosch and the NGK back to back, and the NGK ran far better than the Bosch. The Bosch were terrible in my case.
