recently upgraded all 4 shocks, if you’re looking for something for better performance go for kyb, tein, or monroe.
I currently own a 90s car. Ginagamit ko siya for daily use but I'm planning to have the coil and shock absorber replaced. My priority is comfort. Question, ano ang mas makakapagbigay ng comfy ride? Stock KYB shocks o adjustable coil over?
Same car sir, 2014 Vios E. I suggest KYB you'll get what you pay for. Durability = KYB
KYB shocks are working well for me and aren't expensive.
My truck only had 80K when I changed the front shocks and coils with KYB. Totally different ride than before. It now steers like it's on rails with very little steering wheel input. Change the coils no matter your choice.
No, I put a set of KYB Gas-A-Justs in it with the stock springs after i discovered a weepy front shock.
My two cents. KYB is great, don’t buy a eco KYB get something in the daily driver to performance range. The cheap KYB are just too hard riding IMO.
As for the continental kit affecting the handling, I really don't think it makes a difference, the handling is terrifying! There is a long 90 degree curve near me, and when I try to push the car thru it, I get body lean, tire squeal, and understeer that slowly gives way to a neutral attitude.
The only part to go bad was the rear shocks at 56K.
Annoyingly I have a 1 year old kyb excel g that popped its seal. Cost to ship it back for warranty not worth it.
