I’m currently running koni yellows. I don’t have experience with any others but these have treated me well with a 2” lowering spring on my daily. I would suggest them for a mid/entry level shock with some level of adjustability

Pros: treated me well, adjustable

If you have a small budget HR sports and Konis are far better than coilovers on the low end. You won’t be super low busy it will handle and ride nice.

Pros: handle and ride nice
Cons: won't be super low

On the road, these Koni’s ride amazingly well. They compress and rebound faster than the stock dampers. Subjectively, this helps soak up road imperfections, but returns the tire to the road surface more quickly. This helps eliminate head toss and vibration through the chassis. Additionally, the FSD technology allows for softer compression under high frequency (large/harsh) impacts. This nets in a smooth ride over rough road conditions, but the composed and sporty handling is not compromised either. The ride feels significantly more premium.

Pros: smooth ride, sporty handling

I did the Konis with the BMR SP009 springs, and while firm, the ride is comfortable and compliant.

Pros: comfortable and compliant ride
Cons: firm ride

I ended up going with Koni FSDs again along with matching Eibach springs. Tirerack still sold them as a matched kit. Ride height looks to be the same, although ride quality seems a bit harsher. I think these springs have a different spring rate than the stock ones, even though most people thought that the factory springs were Eibach. It's not bad, but I definitely feel every bump in the road.

Pros: ride height looks the same
Cons: ride quality a bit harsher
