Had a mystery clunk from my front end on a 21TRD pro. Drove me crazy and the dealership near me thought I was. Took it to another shop and they found my fox shocks lost the nitrogen charge that sits on the oil. New shocks, fixed.
As for shocks, Fox is the best route for offroad shocks. They use higher quality parts and fluids than anyone else in the industry.
I think stiff sway bars and good tires make any car feel sporty, but sporty isn\u2019t always directly related to fun - anyone who has coilovers that are way too stiff can attest to this.
I upgraded to Gabriel Strider shocks, best I could afford at the time, and bought Radial T/As to go on the Keystones. Big front and rear sway bars too. So even if my car didn't accelerate like a boss it did corner pretty well.
Got Gabriel on both my gen3s Self installed. They're as good as ya gonna get for these cars
Fox 2.5 in adjusters custom tuned from AccuTune are amazing and they'll tune the shocks for the ride you want it and your mods. I have no regrets.
I've experienced zero nose dive after I lifted it. I used Fox shocks
I had a 2019 Ranger Raptor. Sold it exactly after 3 years. A week before warranty expires, all 4 shocks nagleak. Napansin ko kasi pag umakyat ako sa bed may squeak sounds kaya pinacheck ko na. Walang marunong magrepair sa Philippines ng Fox shocks kaya full replacement yun which costs around 200k.
If you want your car to float and drive like a boat, go with gabriel.
I just did my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 and put these on the back.
The springs supposedly add about 500 lbs to the leaf springs. After receiving them, I was a little disappointed by the plastic stop at the top of the springs, and the ride is pretty rough empty. Not recommending them (only had them a couple of weeks) but I'm sure there are similar products.
