My full list for my 2 inch lift on my 2013 :
Bilstein 5100s , OME 2886 , JBA Off Road High Caster Upper Control Arms , and Ironman 4x4 Medium Duty Leaf Springs
I'd consider the KONI STRT if available for the 2012.
I put Bilstein shocks on my 2016. they were a good upgrade in ride quality
My shocks were a bit baggy after 90k miles so I took the opportunity to upgrade to Bilstein B6 shocks. Handling and braking was vastly improved.
Also picked up some (seemingly brand new) 2023 OR Bilstein takeoffs for $150 yesterday I'll throw on it this weekend.
Do you like the bilsteins? I plan on getting some soon (have to buy my house first) but the BC's the car came on are clapped and I'm sick of the harsh ride and I want bilstiens.
Suspension kit: lowering, Bilstein shock absorbers, negative camber on all wheels
I tecconend Bilstien Sport (Blue and Yellow)..they are amazing from my experience\u2026
Some people say Bilstein 5100 remove nose dive, but I disagree - the 5100 help, but you still nose dive.
Service writer gave me a ticket for Bilstein front and rear shocks on a 17 tundra, had to rebuild the front struts with the new set. I assumed it was the oem replacement... There's a small snap ring on the shaft of the shock that adjusts the spring seat (also the spring seat in this picture is installed upside down, something I too figured out the hard way).
