Oil filter Motorcraft or Mobil
I'm using the M1-104A on my 2022 INT650 and haven't had any issues. It's got about 2500 miles since I changed the oil/filter after the break in.
I use a compatible Motorcraft filter and the Havoline synthetic that comes in the box. It gets hot. The engine is just fine. You don’t need to fret over fancy oil. It’s a Lexus.
For oil filters, the highest-rated brand performance-wise was the Mobil 1 Filter. Stay away from Fram, cheap shit. Take one apart some time and you'll see why.
I like MOBIL 1 Extended performance filters pretty good synthetic media and not too expensive (if you can find your model) at walmar
Bought a dealer Sell Pack of 12 Motorcraft filters at Rockauto.
I have used the Mobil 1 ones in the olden times when they gave you extra rebate bucks for using one.
I use mobile one, I buy at Walmart and use oem filters
I run synth Mobil 1 or Castrol Edge 5W20, and a Mobil 1 filter, m1-110.
Changed yearly or if I hit the 16000-18000 km mark before that. I do change the filter every time instead of Honda's every other change interval recommendation.
Check oil level now and then.
I drive an average of 100 to 150 miles a day doing deliveries. (Gen 3 2014 Plug In Hybrid) I do use Mobil 1 high mileage (label says protects up to 20,000 mi) oil and a Mobil 1 filters (packaging says the same for the filter) for my oil change. It runs extremely well! My engine feels great compared to the regular jiffy lube oil change! But I just recently came from Firestone last week while getting my alignment done and overall health check. I used to do oil changes every 5k but it was getting ridiculous changing every month and a half paying $70+ and the engine still feels exceptional. So with Mobil 1 HM I changed it every 8-10k miles. This time around, I topped off the last quart from my 5 quart bottle at 10K and will be doing my oil change at 15k. You can say I am pushing it a bit but I feel inclined to really test the Mobil 1 statement. But, back to Firestone, at the 11k miles of running the same oil. they gave me the news and said it’s still up to manufactures specifications and everything was good! It still runs great! If anything Mobil 1 really makes a difference and. But I’ll be changing oil every 8-10k to be on the conservative side, sure saves a heck a lot of money and not waste oil that’s still good.
the bypass valve on the Mobil filter is too low for our engines ~ 15 psi. Mahle/Mann is at ~27 psi. In certain situations, even normal situations, the mobil filter isn't filtering at all
