Castrol 5w-30-M with Bosch filter.
I use a compatible Motorcraft filter and the Havoline synthetic that comes in the box. It gets hot. The engine is just fine. You don’t need to fret over fancy oil. It’s a Lexus.

You could do another oil and filter change to see if it was that or if the oil was just a coincidence.
Bought a dealer Sell Pack of 12 Motorcraft filters at Rockauto.
OEM Mahle/Mann are best. Next best is the higher end Bosch filters.
Yes, the Bosch 3300 is correct for your car. I just used exactly that one for my oil change a few weeks ago.

I WAS using Subscribe and Save for Amazon Full Synthetic 5W-30 and Motorcraft FL-910S Filters, but they keep running out of stock
if you use the Ford/Motor raft FL400S, you can put all 6 qts in. Our engines benefit in some way or another from the bit of extra oil, iirc. Makes it easier than measuring out to get to the 5. whatever the stock filter size is
Bosch filters are almost as bad a FRAM now.
