It does keep your high beams on but blocks out other cars, so it should not blind people. I have never been flashed with the matrix running, so I would check if your headlights are leveled properly.

Pros: blocks out other cars

Had to adjust my headligts down a bit on my '24 TXT as they were blinding people. Otherwise, the headlights are outstanding.

Pros: headlights are outstanding
Cons: blinding people

I have a ‘25 Outback Onyx XT, and even on regular setting, oncoming traffic flashes me as if my brights are on (they aren’t). Best headlights ever.

Pros: best headlights ever
Cons: traffic flashes me
Vehicle: Subaru Outback

Our '25 Forester had the lights aimed incredibly low. I followed the directions I've used in the past for aiming headlights:

* 25ft away from a wall on a flat surface

* Measure distance from ground to sideview mirrors

* Mark on a wall 1-2" less than that height

* Using a Philips screwdriver, adjust headlights so the beam on the driver side light comes just below that level

However, I did this and the lights were way too high - illuminating oncoming drivers. I had to adjust them lower by about 2-3" at 25'.

Pros: directions for aiming
Cons: lights aimed too low
Vehicle: Subaru Forester

I came to reddit to make sure I wasn't crazy. 2025 Impreza. I just got it and had it out at night for the first time last night. Same exact issues. Very odd cutout on the road in front of me. Very distracting.

Cons: odd cutout, distracting
Vehicle: Subaru Impreza

Yeah Tesla’s are cool, getting one fixed is not. Had a headlight crack from road shrapnel on the freeway and was gonna get it replaced. Got quoted around $1,200-1,500 for one headlight that still has a functioning bulb because they only sell the assembly. Needless to say, piece of shit is still cracked and going strong 2 years later

Pros: functioning bulb
Cons: headlight cracked

I decided to Google the 2025, Subaru. Crosstrek headlights, because mine have these black circles that show up on low beams. It is so distracting and so annoying, and my low beams look so low, that straight ahead is not bright at all.

Cons: distracting, annoying
Vehicle: Subaru
