Headlights Depo or TYC
My son bought some they looked immaculate. We compared the OEM housing to the TYC and it looked like TYC bought the molds or the engineering drawings as everything was identical, down to seam lines.
Bought some TYC replacements for my 4th gen a few years back. They’ve held up well
TYCs still rocking without any moisture two years later.
Nimm die Depo, die sind am ehesten an der Optik OEM+Angel Eyes. Hatte ich auch Jahrelang und nie Probleme damit. Beide haben E-Freigaben.
Cheapest would be DEPO headlights.
I thought the headlight gap was normal. I have glass depos and they have the same gap. The original plastic headlights had the same gap as well.
I got a pair of DEPO OEM-style lights which look and fit the same and have the leveling motors. I notice that some light shines out the side of the assembly. I can see the HID capsule, located between a parabolic mirror and the projector lens, by looking through the side of the headlight at a specific angle. The light leakage through the same path illuminates a vertical strip of bushes and trees off each of the car. The beam pattern seems a bit different with these, more of a step-up versus what I thought was a straight horizontal cut-off previously. Otherwise the fit and finish seem fine on the DEPO lamps.
TYC is as bad as it gets.
Whatever you do, don't buy DEPO headlights I've bought a few pairs for various cars and they never fit correctly, I finally learnt my lesson with those things.
Don't get TYC. My beam pattern is poor, and I had cast metal parts inside the headlights get soft and bend from the heat.
