TYC Headlights

Looking some more and I ran across TYC brand and that may be what I have in my Suburban. Anyone have any experience with TYC regardless the year?

Just search for e-code headlights. I have Depo and they're fine, but not as nice as OEM Valeo.

Pros: fine quality
Cons: not as nice as OEM

don't spray ANY harsh cleaner on those Depo's. Soap and water only and make sure you put some kind of UV protectant after every wash. Depos are good until they aren't, you can search this on the GXOR main group page on FB to see what happens 8-12 months with Depo bc they use the cheapest and thinnest lenses which will yellow and get stress cracks from the sun and heat if you don't care for them. Don't let the honeymoon phase fool you, there is a reason why Depo's are significantly cheaper than OEM NOS. I had the same sport depo's on my 470, and after 2yrs they were trashed.

Cons: yellowing, stress cracks

TYC Headlights

I got two TYC headlights new, its Taiwan quality. Seems good enough for the price however, the driver's headlight is kinda broken? Adjusting it vertically worked to some extent but upon a vibration or a little love tap on it, the alignment fell TO THE BOTTOM.. Now it cant be adjusted. It doesnt happen for the driver side headlight tho.

Pros: good enough for price
Cons: alignment fell, can't adjust

So I just bought some depo headlights to upgrade form my foggy oem ones. Went for a drive and the low beams seem decently placed, maybe a little high but somewhat dim output. The high beams unfortunately are in the trees and absolutely useless. I’ve used the adjustment screw on the back and I’ve run out of adjustment to bring them down. Photos added for detail. Not sure what to do at this point, disappointed to have spent 400 on lights that might not work out.

Pros: low beams decently placed
Cons: dim output, high beams useless, run out of adjustment
Vehicle: Subaru Impreza WRX STi
