Search up DEPO BMW F30 headlights on google. They're made to replace the shitty halogens and they look and perform exactly as the OEM Pre-LCI style headlights.
I'm normally a certified hater when it comes to non-OEM lighting, but the Depos are really nice.
Put these in today and I can’t believe how much the headlights change the look of the car.
I have depo headlights and taillights they have never failed and the quality is great
I’d stick to OEM or DEPO. OEM is best but also most expensive, DEPO is good for the money, they will last and fit well.
Other than needing some beam adjustment out of the box and not quite as good of fit & finish vs oem, they seem decent for the price.
I thought the headlight gap was normal. I have glass depos and they have the same gap. The original plastic headlights had the same gap as well.
I just installed depo and had a similar issues. Ended up having to test each pin in the connector individually to match everything up properly. The diagrams online and even that came with the kit are all wrong for some reason.
My 2023 is not any better. I hit a deer last winter and when I switched back to my truck for a few months it was so apparent how bad the lights were. I would have seen the deer with my truck, but not with the low beams on my Bolt.
The car has been amazing except for one thing, the headlights. I can't see ANYTHING at night. I've adjusted the headlights a few times and they are aimed correctly, but the output is so dim that it the only noticeable things are streets signs or other things with that reflective matetial/coating. It makes me nervous to drive, to the point where I will upgrade to anothet car if I can't find a solution.
