Headlights Depo or Morimoto
I did the same exact thing. This is what I got [Morimoto mini](https://www.theretrofitsource.com/bixenon-morimoto-mini-h1-stage-3?quantity=1) . Installation instructions aare available online and it required putting the headlight in the oven to take the cover off. It was pretty easy. 5 years later and still works and i use high beams frequently. You'll have to do some custom work to find some place to hold the ballasts in place in the engine bay. Very high quality product.
Morimoto headlights. Mines a 4th gen, but i never get tired of seeing how much it stands out in a sea of rams here in alberta.
Morimoto has been good to me. 4 years or so first Gen xbs.
Depo lights from rockauto. Good quality and look like oe
I would rewire it myself if everything is accessible, otherwise maybe get new headlights, got myself some new one from DEPO.
Just search for e-code headlights. I have Depo and they're fine, but not as nice as OEM Valeo.
These are known to go bad. I didn't have your issue, but my passenger light decided to start flickering one night instantly. The next day, the DRL wasn't working, and the low beam wouldn't come on. I ended up getting new headlights from Morimoto since I had no warranty, and I wasn't going to pay $1200 for one headlight from Nissan. The OEM lights are pretty good, but terribly designed, causing water intrusion.
I admit they do "look" good because they are brand new, but they are the biggest pile of excrement this side of the equator! My headlights for that wagon, while the beams are near perfectly aimed (yes i did that) i about have a brain aneurysm Everytime I see them in the front of the wagon, specially if I get locked or fixated.
that Depo crap isn't worth the work
don't spray ANY harsh cleaner on those Depo's. Soap and water only and make sure you put some kind of UV protectant after every wash. Depos are good until they aren't, you can search this on the GXOR main group page on FB to see what happens 8-12 months with Depo bc they use the cheapest and thinnest lenses which will yellow and get stress cracks from the sun and heat if you don't care for them. Don't let the honeymoon phase fool you, there is a reason why Depo's are significantly cheaper than OEM NOS. I had the same sport depo's on my 470, and after 2yrs they were trashed.
