Headlights Depo or Bosch

On my '04 WRX I used the Depo replacements after I tried the E-Bay Halo replacements for 1 day (worse headlight ever on the cheapy cool looking things). The Depo were OEM "look", probably insurance approved. I know they are not OEM, but I would say they are +95% of the OEM light pattern, which is still VERY good.

I've had my depo headlights for almost 2 years and never had any condensation.

I had the DEPO smileys on my last vert and the only annoyance is having to get them wired in correctly and the occasional condensation. Other than that, they're good for what you're paying.

I'm using the Depo HID Projector headlights paired with 4300k bulbs and it works perfectly fine.

Mine used to get moisture inside on the passenger side. Only when I decided to completely separate the lenses from the housing to fix the adjusters did they seal properly. Just used a clear silicone around it.

My goal with the TDI was to outfit it the way I would have ordered it from the factory. Can someone who has these newer DEPO angel eye headlights tell me how to adjust or aim the headlights? Just finished doing a Getta conversion and a respray and want to get my darn headlights right! I see the big white knob on the top and the black knob on the bottom. But after turning the white knob on the top, I was only able to get a tiny bit of adjustment. I could not easily turn the bottom black knobs. I know headlight adjustment knobs move very slowly in the adjustments - so I'm asking after spending minutes turning the whiet knobs for little change. My driver's side beam is directly pointing at oncoming traffic but aiming low. Passnger side needs to be lowered and centered too. I'd love to have my headlights adjusted so I can see if these Osram Silverstars are really the shizel

I replaced the stock headlamps with Depo black euro headlights and was fine for 6 months, then the bulb recently blew up again! Shards of glass ruined the almost new headlamp! The wiring must be iffy since there has been some meltage, my guess is too much current on the right side.

I had Depo with fogs on my GTI when I had it and with the fogs on (which are integral to the headlight) the heat from the fog melted the housing right in front. It looked like a cigarette burn right in front of the lense.

I bought a set of "smoked" DEPO's from an unnamed, supposedly reputable, used-parts seller on the vortex. Upon receiving the lights, discovered that two of the internal mounting tabs on the passenger headlights were broken.
