Engine radiator OEM Volkswagen or Denso
I had a leak/split in the top of the radiator and bought a factory DENSO replacement part from Rock Auto with free shipping for my 2001 Camry that fit like a glove for $100.
If that radiator is shot replace it with a Denso.
He Bought a denso. Took all of 30 mins to install.
I swapped my original radiator at 230k with a denso replacement. Denso/oem parts have always been g2g for me.
Denso radiator. Oem manufacturer. Not to expensive. Pretty easy to replace. I did all of mine and it was a breeze. If I can, you can.
Replaced with oem (denso) and carried on. No factor.
I just replaced my radiator with a Denso from Napa a few months ago. If I can do it, anyone can.
I just installed this Denso 7 years ago, won't pay for that again.
The towing package radiator is 1" thick if I recall, I have used rockauto.com to find the radiator. The last one I bought was a Denso, I haven't had great luck with non-OEM radiators not leaking. There was one I bought that only lasted w years.
I needed to replace the entire radiator in the GTI to get a check engine light to go away.
