I've had my nissens radiator for years and it's fine.
Replaced with original.
24 years is good for me.
The stock piece lasts well over a decade in my experience. That's more than enough for me for a part that fits and functions perfectly.
I just installed a nissens. went fine, good fit.
I just looked on rockauto. Buy the Nissens 61033. HD cooling radiator. They are an OEM manufacturer. And it’s only $154. Fraction of the cost of Mopar, and the same quality.
I replaced mine with a Nissens and it’s been working great for over a year. The way the drain plug felt when I installed it was a bit concerning though.
Pretty sure oem is mahle but nissens are good for sure
Biggest issues were constant air suspension faults and 2 failures leaving me stranded remedied by converting to coils. Other big expenditures have been 2x radiators (got fed up with Behr and switched to Nissen with no problems since), fuel pump, alternator, ignition switch, and starter.
bmw makes a sad excuse of a cooling system with brittle plastic, sad plastic joins and a pathetic plastic and metal radiator, like that's gonna last
During Covid a lot of brand new genuine BMW parts had some issues so I had to change my radiator twice, was covered by BMW dealer after loads of back and forth. (There’s two part numbers for B48 engine main radiators and the dealer said the part number used was not meant for the car but the other radiator clearly wouldn’t fit)
