Engine radiator OEM BMW or Denso

Denso Engine radiator

I got a Denso for my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.7L V8 and it has been fantastic, great quality and in good shape upon delivery. Vehicle ran 5-7°F cooler than before the radiator leak that initiated the replacement

Pros: fantastic quality, good shape on delivery, ran cooler
Vehicle: Jeep Grand Cherokee

OEM BMW Engine radiator

It happened to me once at a night time. I just pulled over, stopped the engine and started again after several minutes and everything was OK.

Edit: After reading other's comments, I realized that mine also related to coolant system. Some time after this incident I replaced radiator because of a coolant leak. May be this warning is related to that.

Pros: Everything was OK
Cons: coolant leak

bmw makes a sad excuse of a cooling system with brittle plastic, sad plastic joins and a pathetic plastic and metal radiator, like that's gonna last

Cons: brittle plastic, sad joins, pathetic radiator

During Covid a lot of brand new genuine BMW parts had some issues so I had to change my radiator twice, was covered by BMW dealer after loads of back and forth. (There’s two part numbers for B48 engine main radiators and the dealer said the part number used was not meant for the car but the other radiator clearly wouldn’t fit)

Cons: parts had issues, changed twice
Vehicle: BMW
