Been running 87 and 5w 40 on my mk7.5 for the last 40k of ownership. She loves it, no tics stutters or hiccups at 65k miles.

Pros: no tics, no stutters

I do like Valvoline R&P and it is in fact cleaning up two older, normally aspirated cars I have with oiling and ring issues, installed in one Lexus and one older Acura (Isuzu).

Pros: cleaning up older cars

Cons: HTHS is very mediocre

Oil burning around 150k, although switching to Valvoline Restore & Protect I've basically eliminated it. Seems to be related to carbon buildup in the low tension rings.

Pros: eliminated oil burning

Cons: carbon buildup

Eu 0w-30 folosesc la un golf 4 1.9tdi si sunt multumit, masina porneste foarte bine la frig, al meu drag motor mananca, si trebuie sa completez 100 ml la 5-600 km cv de genu.
