Valvoline 5w-30 full synthetic for good cold starts in winter and a royal purple oil filter for good small particle filtration.

Pros: good cold starts

Cons: bad at cold starts

Use either IDEMITSU Rotary oil or Valvoline Racing Oil.

Pros: High Zinc content

Thanks - I just ordered 2 5-qt jugs of the 5W40, less than $25 each and free shipping. We use this in my 2016 GSW and my wife's 2007 A4.

I throw valvoline 5w30 euro spec (vw 50700) cause it was cheap on Amazon.

as a small engine mechanic at my shop we use the Briggs and Stratton 5w 30 for everything because all we’re fixing is snowblowers but for my personal machines I either use valvoline or amsoil

Back when I dailly drove my 05 I went 10k fuel and oil. Donaldson filters and Valvoline premium blue oil

Pros: extended filter life
