I have a Svartpilen 401 2024 model. I did a 500 km ride recently, I didn't notice any drop in the oil level. In India, the engine oil used for these bikes is Motul 7100 10w50 Fully Synthetic.

Pros: no drop in oil
Mileage: 500 km

I have always used shell 10w-40 and did regular oil changes around 4-4.5k. Faced no issues what so ever, engine was still healthy, no oil consumption, almost same performance.

Pros: healthy engine, no issues
Mileage: 370000 km

I recently switched to fully synthetic motul 7100 10w50 too, which did help a little, but didn't solve the issue.

Pros: helped a little

Don\u2019t buy the xcess version. Causes weird engine deposits. Stick with xclean.
