Engine oil PENNZOIL or Mannol

PENNZOIL Engine oil

I flip between Pennzoil Ultra Platinum and Motul X-Clean both in 5W-30 depending on if I order ahead of time online or just go to the store/dealership for parts. Both have been good, just make sure to keep up on maintence schedules and you'll be fine with pretty much anything

Pros: Both have been good
Vehicle: Subaru

PENNZOIL Engine oil

Pennzoil Platinum or Ultra Platinum 5w20 and WIX 57060 (non XP) filter. I bought my truck with around 40k miles, it now has 90k and have had no issues with the motor changing the oil every 7500 per Blackstone's oil analysis I sent in not long after I took ownership.

Pros: no issues with motor
Mileage: 144840 km
Part number: 57060

PENNZOIL Engine oil

My dealership usually overfills my car and I do not think they use Toyota 0w-16 based on oil tests I have done. I do my own changes and switched from Toyota 0w-16 to Mobil 0w-16 and landed on Pennzoil presently and going forward.

Cons: switched to Pennzoil oil

PENNZOIL Engine oil

Luckily modern oils are developed with this in mind. Costco/walmart/amazon oil is made by the same company, Warren oil. I think most people consider penzoil ultra platinum as one of the best.

Pros: Penzoil ultra platinum

Pennzoil is fine, definitely not the best though (my 9th Gen si burned a lot using it) if you can get Mobil 1 or Castrol l I’d go for them instead and use an oem filter.

Cons: burned a lot
Vehicle: Honda Civic
