Engine oil PENNZOIL or ELF

i use the Elf Excellium DID 505.01-spec 5W40 in my non pd-tdi. no problems either.

I've been using the Elf 505.01 oil. I used the Motul oil the 1st oil change. I like the Elf better from what I hear.

I just picked up some Penzoil synthetic 5w-40 today and right on the front of the bottle it says "Meets BMW and Mercedes requirements" a little search on back label listed all the specs and all VW specs listed above are on the back of the bottle.
