Mobil Engine oil

So I’m in the U.K. and I just had my car serviced it’s an x4M, the reccomend is BMW or Castrol Edge, I went for Mobil 1 0w-30. For some reason not sure if it’s the oil my fuel economy has gone up by 100 miles per tank

Pros: fuel economy increased
Vehicle: BMW

Shell Engine oil

Rotella T6 15W-40 in the perfectly sized 2.5 gallon jug. I’ve run this in both LML’s since day 1 and combined it’s over 500,000 miles.

Pros: high mileage, long use
Mileage: 804672 km

Mobil Engine oil

Mobil1 especially the ESP 5W30, it has certifications from major manufacturers such as MB229, BMW LL, and importantly Porsche C30 certified which is the most strict out there... Also can't be helped that I own a Peugeot which happens to recommend Mobil 1 as well...

12 years running and no major issues so far on the unreliable-ass Prince EP6 Engine.

Pros: no major issues
Cons: unreliable engine
Vehicle: Peugeot

Shell Engine oil

T6 Rotella 5w-40 when I run test pipes on tune, the heavy weight is great for keeping oil temps down and the zinc is awesome as a friction inhibitor but is terrible for cats so when I’m going to pass emissions I run Kirkland 5w-30 full synth on stock cats.

Pros: heavy weight, friction inhibitor
Cons: terrible for cats
