On chilly winter mornings (SF Bay Area) the car did not like reverse or first gears. Subsequently switched to Red Line engine oil. More power, better mileage.

Pros: more power, better mileage
Cons: car did not like gears

10W-40 full synthetic Mobil 1 fixed that on my 05 Rio with the B6 Mazda engine. The sound goes away shortly after an oil change and it stays away for about 2 or 3,000 mi until the oil breaks down and it starts to make the noise again.

Pros: fixed the sound, stays for 2-3k miles
Cons: sound returns when oil breaks down
Vehicle: Kia Rio

Mobil Engine oil

It depends on what ur using the car for. I’ve used super tech, Mobil 1, and pennzoil and haven’t found a single difference in feeling, temperatures, or oil consumption.

Pros: no difference in feeling
Cons: no difference in temperatures

Yea mobile 1 is among the bottom end of full synthetics. Even the Walmart cheapest supertech and valvoline will slightly beat mobile 1 in reducing metal wearing.

Pros: reduces metal wearing
Cons: bottom end synthetics
