I use **Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0W-20** or **Mobil 1 Hybrid 0W-20**, whichever is available. I use a **WIX 51348XP** filter, available locally or at RockAuto online. Do not buy filters on Amazon - there are a lot of counterfeits.
Ive been using 0w40 mobil1. Had 2 jetta one 2011 wasn’t deleted car went till 502k km till it got hit into a ditch
It probably won’t matter much but I swear by Mobile 1 because I swapped to it in a vehicle that wasn’t doing well and it turned around and started running way smoother.
Please spend the money on quality oil. Use synthetic, 5W-30 or 0W-40 is recommeneded. Most of us use 0W-40 now, since we've found that 0W-40 makes the engine quite a bit smoother in sound and keeps it quiet.
I have the turbo model. 5w-40 European Mobil 1.
I use Mobil 1 - 4 qts 5W-30.
I use the Mobil ESP 0W-20 in my Unitronic stage 1 Tiguan and it\u2019s solid.
I’ve used Mobile 1 in all my vehicles. Never had problems.
Up the weight of the oil and get rid of that mobil 1 water
I sent a few samples from my Ecoboost 3.0 to Blackstone Laboratories at 5k miles each. Mobil 1 and Pennzoil Platinum, both used Fram ultra synthetic filters.Oil was pretty much cashed out. I couldn't imagine going any further than 5k.
