Engine oil Mobil or OEM Honda

Mobil Engine oil

Mobile one full synthetic hands-down. I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla and a 2007 Toyota Tacoma I’ve owned both since brand new and now both have over 260,000 miles apiece . I have only used Mobil one full synthetic changed every 5000 miles. just took a bore scope to look into both engines a few months ago. They look like they’re brand new. Almost no varnish. Absolutely no sledge, never had any problems whatsoever with these vehicles. It’s insane.

Pros: no varnish, no sledge
Vehicle: Toyota
Mileage: 260000 km

I have used Motul and Castrol before and I found the Mobil oil to perform and keep the engine cooler and smoother on my triumph.

Pros: engine cooler, smoother

Mobil Engine oil

Mobil 1 AFE 0W-30 is what they used at the dealership and I’ve read a bunch of other people use it. I use it. Supposedly better than the mopar one.

Pros: better than mopar

Installed new oil and filter, plus BG oil flush, ran at idle for 30 minutes (warm-up, plus 15 minutes). Changed oil and filter again, using Mobil 5W40 Euro oil.

Vehicle: Volkswagen

I tried Mobil 1 in a Vortec 5.7. That engine did not use oil using Castrol or even Walmart dino oil. IT did use a quart at 1000 miles using 15-40 maybe it was 15-50 Mobil 1.

Cons: used a quart at 1000 miles
Mileage: 1609 km
