I have the turbo model. 5w-40 European Mobil 1.
I use Mobil 1 - 4 qts 5W-30.
I use the Mobil ESP 0W-20 in my Unitronic stage 1 Tiguan and it\u2019s solid.
2014 VW Passat 1.8TSI engine. 249k miles. Did the recommended oil change at every 10k until 125, then every 5 k. Transmission fluid change every 80k, looking back, will switch to 60k, just to be safe.
I've been using Castrol GTX High Mileage for almost 10 years in my 2009. I've always done 10,000 mile changes and I've got 298,000 miles on it. Blackstone tests on my 10,000 mile oil say it should be good for another 2000 miles.

Mobil 1 in all my vehicles recently. Basically only because it’s cheap on Amazon. Always paired with a Wix XP filter though
I have a 2012 Camry all 10k oil changes running Mobil one exclusively and it burns no oil with 270k miles.
I did burn more Castrol than kroon. now i cannot get kroon and changed to Motul which seems to burn faster than kroon.
And that mobil 1 stuff is yess ,, ass. I learned the hard way. Its like water tbh.
