Engine oil LIQUI MOLY or OEM Toyota
I run liqui moly molygen 5w 30 oil in mine. Runs ultra quiet and quiets lifter tick. Runs nice and cool and runs like a champ!
I wouldn’t put anything other than Liqui Moly in my Benz. I used to take my car to Wheel Works, but after long drives, it would smell like burnt oil. Switched to LM and started charging the oil myself. I’ve never smelled anything after that for years. It makes a difference for sure.
I’ve have always used higher quality oil like liqui-moly (0w-20 till 60k kms)
I might add use the best oil you can find - this will keep your PCV system spotless and other good things. I always use oil to the severe service Volvo spec listed in the owners manual. I now am pretty exclusive to the LiquiMoly line. I insist on 3rd party certification
Liqui moly for me runs about 4-5 degrees lower than OEM for my GTI. not sure if the same temp diff exists for the R but I did some reading on this. Perfectly normal.
selber fahr ich nur auf Liqui Moly
Bin da Markenopfer.
Auch was additive angeht.
Nur Liqui Moly
I run 10w60 liquimoly gt1 full synthetic. Engine build 2019 till now no issues regular oil changes
Pick one oil and run it for life preferably liqui moly , I hear these particular engines need one oil for life , drive her hard sometimes should be fine
I check the oil a couple times a month, mostly because it's leaking oil a bit and needs a top-off every thousand miles or so.
2004 Toyota Avensis
Thing just guzzles oil. I believe the model I had was manufactured in England.
Had to top up the oil every 3000kms
