I got mine changed from Express Lube Liqui Moly Bhatta Chowk for my Corolla Altis at 70,000 Km for Rs:25000 for everything.
Yes I actually got the liqui moly oil put in mine first time recently. Engine does seem to be a tad bit more calm and less chatter. It's probably what I will stick to always now. That's exactly what I was told it would help with.
Use whatever oil that has the BMW longlife 01 certification. Castrol Edge Euro is a good option. I use pricier Liqui Moly, 0w40 or 5w40.
I’ve only done oil changes at a euro Indy shop for $250 a pop. Liquid Moly
Used this in my last st till I sold it… had 235,000kms on it and still ran like a champ.
I use 10W-40 semi- synthetic Mannol. Cheap and works fine.
My 2013 GTI I believe has been running off of 5w-40 since I bought it. Supplied a shop with European 5w-40 and it still ran fine. Now it's winter, 6-12F outside and I just got the oil changed at a local drive and shine to 5W30 full synthetic and the GTI is running like garbage! RPMs are staggering all over when it goes into neutral, instead of 750RPMS it likes 1k to be normal. It just overall feels wrong.
