Engine oil IDEMITSU or OEM BMW

IDEMITSU Engine oil

Switch to Idemitsu ( Japanese oil ) - Manufacturers for genuine and even does factory fill for many, they are very premium oils with starting segment already beating the top shelf of alternative brands.

Pros: premium oils, beating alternative brands
Vehicle: Toyota

OEM BMW Engine oil

My supra BMW. Engine oil + filter, ATF + pan, 6 sparkplug, coolant flush and change = RM3840. Comparing like this i think yours should be reasonable + yours is in KD ???? i won’t worry for first time service at the shop.

Pros: reasonable price
Vehicle: BMW

OEM BMW Engine oil

If done properly, the vacuum works well. I used to do it on my E36 BMW for years. It does suck out pretty much all oil, I checked it by unscrewing the oil pan plug after the oil had been sucked out.

Pros: vacuum works well
Vehicle: BMW

IDEMITSU Engine oil

Idemitsu is responsible for the oil that powered the Mazda 787b; they know the rotary like no other. I exclusively use their synthetic 20w50 and premix.

Pros: knows rotary like no other

OEM BMW Engine oil

Nah you're fine. BMW engines are known for using some oil. Even 1l on 5k km is not much, even the dealership considers this as normal.

Pros: normal oil consumption
Cons: using some oil
Vehicle: BMW
Mileage: 5000 km
