Engine oil Eneos or Lucas

Ok, so here’s my anecdote: a friend of mine had an old Ranger that had an oil pump failing. He didn’t want to pay me or anyone else to pull the engine and replace the pump so I suggested he just throw a bottle of this in there and see what happens.

Well, his oil light went off and oil pressure improved.

I use only Eneos 0w20.

I normally use Mobil 1, but did experiment with a JDM brand called ENEOS. The engine seemed to run smoother with that engine than other brands I've tried before.

Eneos oil. Japanese full synthetic. Use it on my 96 accord. Good stuff.

Lucas tool oil is great.

Eneos 5w-30! Car runs like a dream

Super happy with the guys at PIA, and they use Eneos 5w40.

My tuner recommended Eneos 5w40

Eneos 5w-30 full synth for my 06 WRX. It has a high zinc content.

So I drained the gearbox while I was there and refilled with 1/4 Lucas oil, the rest 80/90
