10w-40 AMSOIL for metric bikes. Bike runs and shifts like new with 30k on the clock
After almost 2 weeks of usage, grabe as in grabeeee. napakasmooooth! hahaha tuwang tuwa ako kada throttle kasi mararamdaman mo talaga yung pagkatahimik+ smoothness + responsive throttle nya kaya ang laki ng tinipid sa gas. Kumbaga yung hinahanap ko na smoothnes ng takbo is dito ko nafeel when I start using this kind of oil. From 39 km/l naging 41.3 km/l na sya.
Now, my wife's '16 FORESTER XT, 2.0 turbo, has 130,000 miles, Amsoil changes every 10,000 miles, and still burns NO oil.
Been running amsoil in my Vitpilen 701. Same engine and it's been great. I run the 15w-50 metric stuff though.
I’ve run amsoil in all my bikes and still do. Same with all my cars and trucks. Never had issues
I use an oil extractor on our 2016 Tiguan, my 2016 A4, and 2023 Arteon. All have done a great job and make an oil change an absolute breeze.
For me amsoil signature series 0w20 a lot better than ravenol ehs 0w20.
I'm regularly using amsoil ss on my Honda L15z1 engine almost 7 years.
0W-20 Amsoil Signature Series 100% synthetic oil changed every 5k miles. Wix 57173XP filter.
My previous MK7 GTI used a quart about every 3K miles from the day it was new until I traded it at 212K.
After reading this thread I decided to check the paperwork on my oil change that I got from a dealer last week. All it says is 6 G-E60-020-1B-DSP ENG. OIL Net 7.80 Total 46.80 which I assume means the "6" is the quantity. As far as I can tell, that part number equals VW 508.00 Spec oil. My car is a 2019 1.8L and the label under the hood clearly says 502 or 504 oil is required.
