For example, Subaru control arms tend to be a wear out part that doesn't last that long The dealer will charge you $1,500 to do both sides and sure that's using OEM parts which aren't even that green in this case I myself was able to do that exact repair for $250 and a few hours of my time

Pros: cheaper than dealer
Cons: frustrating sometimes
Vehicle: Subaru

Get Moog or Mevotech Supreme and install them correctly - torque to spec with the LCA under load - and they're gonna last a good long time.

Pros: long lasting, good quality

MOOG Control arm

As a former analyst for an auto parts distributor... Moog was the most popular and better quality for control arms that we sold across the country. AC Delco was 2nd...

Pros: Moog popular, good quality

MOOG Control arm

Control arms Moog all day, only the Moog control arms made in Germany. If they are made anywhere else they are trash! Moog control arms made in Germany I cannot vouch enough for them!

Pros: ausgezeichnete Qualität (Deutschland)
Cons: schlechte Qualität (nicht Deutschland)

I went with MOOG for the lower control arms on my E46. Seemed like really decent quality. I want to say they were made in Turkey, and half the price of Genuine.

Pros: decent quality

MOOG Control arm

Last year I ordered Moog upper and lower control arms for my truck and I was extremely disappointed. One control arm came with zerk fittings, the other three did not and I had to tap threads for them. Called Moog and was on the phone with them for hours as they told me it wasn't their fault and that the distributor I bought them from are to blame.

Cons: missing zerk fittings, poor quality control, poor customer service

I think RockAuto has bad batches of these. Received a replacement that was worse than the first one and welded crooked. Same problem with subframe interference and not being able to line the back side up to thread the bolt in. Sent both back for refund. Picked up an OEM control arm from GAP and it installed without issue.

Cons: welded crooked, subframe interference
