Brake pads WAGNER or OEM Honda

i use wagner at my shop. never had an issue in the 6 years i've been using them.

Two rotors=$100. Set of pads about $50. Couple wrenches, jack and jack stands.

All 10th gen civics do this.. 10th gen accord, and we've noticed it on some 11th gen civics, too... There was an updated pad that's supposed to help with it..

Second upgrade to Wagner Thermo quiet brake pads and rotors.

I just changed my rear breaks and rotors on my 2018 limited and will be doing the fronts next week, I have always used Wagner Breaks and rotors. I have been using them for 20 years and 5 of those vehicles have been jeeps with zero complaints.

Wagner OEX. It's built on a galvanized steel backing plate so it doesn't rust like the painted ones. It also uses a mechanical attachment system to hold the friction material instead of glue, so it won't crack/detach like the cheap pads.

I am easy on brakes. I coast to stops and don't speed either. I have a 2009 Fit. I swapped the front pads and rotors at 120,000 miles just because. They totally did not need to be swapped. I have since put 97,000 miles on the replacement pads and rotors. The ceramic pads I installed have plenty of life left. The rotors are near the end, but still work.

I had rears replaced at 40k. At 60k now. I’ve always had a rumbling sound and vibration when breaking from 60-55 mph (around 57) since 40k.

I did a change on my moms 2011 Malibu last year. She barely drives and we live in northeastern MA so after 9 years and 21k miles later they just rusted out. Pads and rotors especially the rear parts. I used Wagner pads and rotors and been using them for many years with great results.

I haven't had much luck with durability on Wagner brake pads on any of my cars, though I've not used these on the Passat.
