I used Zimmerman rotors and OEM TRW pads in the back, no dust.
Am placute și discuri trw de vreo 4 ani și aproape 100.000 km. Nu au scârțâit niciodată și la cum conduc eu sunt sigur că mai țin încă pe atât.
"TRW LUCAS MCB54" organics are great. I am currently riding the "EBC FA29V Semi Sintered" but the bite point isn't as good as the TRW.
My wife has 2014 XT since new and we are at 93k miles all stock brakes including rotors and pads. The only thing changed was brake fluid as part of regular maintenance interval.
The factory pads/rotors on my 2011 Outback 3.6 have 90k on them (70% highway miles) and are still in good shape. I'll probably never buy discount parts store brakes again.
Io ho messo le pastiglie TRW Dtec Cotec al posteriore e mi trovo bene le metterò anche davanti appena posso , me ne hanno parlato bene anche per quanto riguarda polveri e residui
TRW Ceramic Pads: Good for city driving, almost not dust, would not recommend for any track
The OE pads do really just suck. The system itself, however is just fine. You should try some different pads of the sportycar flavor (Porterfield R4S, Carbotech Bobcat, G-Lok GS-1, etc.) and see how you feel. I have had no problems with spirited street driving after a pad upgrade. The pedal is actually very well modulated and rather than hitting like a ton of bricks it allows you to control brake friction pretty nicely.
The brakes on this car are pretty ass.
